Twitch Affiliate Eligibility

Before we get into the most commonly asked questions about the Twitch affiliate tax interview process let’s first address what is needed to become a Twitch affiliate.

The criteria for reaching affiliate eligibility.

1. Must have no less than 500 total minutes streaming on your Twitch channel in the last 30 days.
2. Must have at least 7 streams in the past 30 days.
3. Must have an “average” of 3 concurrent viewers or more in the last 30 days.
4. Must have at least 50 followers.

Now with that out of the way let’s talk about the most common questions we get here at Live Streaming Tech when it comes to the Twitch affiliate program and tax interview.

Noticed I said most.

I Have Met all Twitch Affiliate Requirements

We see this first question a lot and this one is plain and simple.

Question: I have met all Twitch’s requirements for becoming an affiliate but still get nothing. Why am I not a Twitch affiliate now?

Answer: You will be invited via an email and/or a notification on your Twitch account.

This may take several weeks after you have checked all the boxes for affiliate eligibility.

Be patient!

Yes, there are some that as soon as they reach all achievements they get an invite the next day while others have waited as much as 30 days.

Question: Do I have to complete all criteria in a month?

Answer: All but the 50 followers.

It can take most new Twitch streamers more than a month to get 50 followers.

With the followers being the hardest requirement we recommend being focused on that requirement first.

The rest of the requirements just take a bit of time and planning but is easy to do.

So, focus on followers first.

Twitch Affiliate Tax Interview

Now for the meat and potatoes when it comes to new Twitch affiliates.

First, let’s be clear we are not tax professionals and this is not tax advice.

These questions vary and some we just don’t have answers to as we don’t work for Twitch.

I would say for about 25% of the questions we just as you can only speculate or just compile information that we see in the comments on our YouTube channel when it comes to topics on the Twitch affiliate program.

But as always we try our best to help fellow streamers.

Question: Do I have to fill out the Twitch affiliate tax interview or can I just skip it and just get the emotes for my channel?

Answer: No, you cannot skip the tax interview if you want to become a Twitch affiliate and gain all the perks.

We wish this was an option and maybe someday it will be but as for now to gain all the perks of Twitch Affiliate you must fill out the interview.

Question: I don’t live in the United States. Do I have to fill out the Twitch tax interview?

Answer: Yes, Twitch is owned by Amazon so technically you are working for Amazon.

Amazon has to answer to the tax man so they need to account for every penny and dollar spent and earned.

Part of this tracking is you filling out the tax interview regardless of the country you live in.

Question: If I am under 13 years old do I have to fill out the Twitch tax interview?

Answer: No, because if you are under the age of 13 years you cannot become a Twitch affiliate.

It’s in the fine print.

Question: Do I need a tax identification number to become a Twitch affiliate?

Answer: Yes, you need some sort of tax identification.

If you live in the U.S. it will be your social security number or an employee identification number.

Question: What if I live outside the United States and don’t have a social security number?

Answer: You will need to get a US TIN (tax identification number) or Foreign non-US TIN.

We recommend just google this and the location in which you live to get information on how to obtain this number.

We also recommend reaching out to a qualified tax professional.

When it comes to laws it is better to trust the tax professional vs. another streamer or Youtuber.

Question: What if I’m a minor? (and over the age of 13)

Answer: You are going to need to get parental consent.

This means that even if you are 17 and 1/2 you will still need talk to your parents or wait the 6 months till you turn 18.

Question: Should the minor use their SSN or the parent?

Answer: WE DON’T KNOW. Reach out to a tax pro for this important information.

Question: What if the tax form fails?

Answer: This does happen from time to time and you are not alone.

Most of the time it means that you didn’t fill it out properly or there could be some type of a glitch.

In either case, reach out to Twitch for further support.

Question: What if the form is taking forever to process?

Answer: Sadly, sometimes it does take a while.

It can be as fast as five minutes or as slow as 30 days.

We would suggest anything after that 30 days reach out to Twitch support.

Question: What if I need to change the information later on?

Answer: Go to your Twitch dashboard.

Select “Preferences”.

Then select “Affiliate”.

After that select “Affiliate Onboarding”.

Find the “Start Over” button and click that.

Currently, ads are the main way to acquire Twitch Bits.

After the campaign has fully run, and all the ad money has been spent, Twitch won’t show the ad to anyone else.

What Is Twitch RPG?

Here at Live Streaming Tech, we’ve run into some of the same problems with ads as our audience.

We want to get the greatest amount of rewards as we can for our channels, but it’s challenging to navigate the ad reward process.

This inspired us to look into other options for Twitch Bits, and that search is what led us to Twitch RPG.

Twitch RPG is a free platform that provides rewards for taking surveys, instead of for watching ads.

If you’ve taken paid surveys in the past, you may already be familiar with their system.

Essentially, you sign up for a free account, give Twitch RPG some basic information, and receive surveys based on your demographics.

In exchange for your responses, they provide you with Twitch Bits.

How To Sign Up For Twitch RPG

Signing up for Twitch RPG is free. However, you will need to provide them with some information.

Since you’re trading your survey responses for free Twitch Bits, you’ll need to start with a summary of yourself.

This information determines the type of quizzes and surveys that you’ll receive through the program, so you’ll have the best experience if you’re honest and accurate.

Expect to list the following information when creating your account:

• Age
• Gender
• Education level
• Income level
• Hobbies
• Interests
• Current shopping patterns

What To Expect With Twitch RPG Surveys

Once you’ve created your account, you can access surveys.

Most of these surveys are short and easy to complete.

We found that many can be filled out in five minutes or less.

The longest we encountered so far has been around 10 minutes long, and that included watching a video of a stream first.

Your surveys will be tailored to your demographic and stated preferences, so you should be seeing content that’s relevant to you.

For example, if you listed you own a cat and like animals when you created your account, you might get surveys asking about your thoughts on pet food.

Here are some example questions we’ve seen in our surveys:

• Do you use a PC or a Mac?
• Are you a mobile streamer?
• How many ads do you normally notice during streams?
• How often do you interact with ads?
• What is your opinion on a certain brand?

You won’t receive an overwhelming amount of surveys.

We’ve been getting roughly one email a month, so this isn’t something that will take up all your time.

You should make sure to engage with the emails and take the surveys relatively soon after receiving them.

Some surveys are time-sensitive, particularly around the holidays and other big dates.

Twitch RPG will also stop sending you opportunities if you don’t maintain some account activity.

How Many Twitch Bits Do You Get From Twitch RPG?

Here’s the important question: how many free Twitch Bits do you receive for taking these surveys?

The amount can vary from survey to survey, but most give you a decent amount of Bits.

In our experience, we’ve gotten between 200 and 1000 Bits per survey.

On average, we’ve received 800 free Twitch Bits for every series of questions.

That’s not a bad return at all, especially when you consider that most surveys can be completed in a few minutes.

What Does Twitch RPG Do With Your Surveys?

Twitch RPG uses survey data to improve advertising on Twitch.

Surveys are a traditional marketing tactic that’s been used for years.

Previously, marketing firms would do surveys through the mail, over the phone, or by setting up kiosks in malls, festivals, and other places with lots of shoppers.

Whether you’re streaming for work, gaming, or movie watching, you want a quality monitor.

A second screen can expand what you can do with your laptop.

We tried out two different 27” monitors, an AOC and an ASUS, and this is what we found.

Read on for the pros and cons of both.

What Do You Want In A Monitor?

First, let’s talk about the things you should look for in a monitor.

Unless you have unlimited space, you will probably want something between 20 to 30 inches.

That’s a size that will fit on most desks but big enough that you’re not straining your eyes.

Speaking of eyestrain. Try to purchase a monitor with the highest refresh rate that you can afford.

Your eyes will thank you for that higher refresh rate.

We thought this to be a myth or a marketing gimmick but having a higher refresh rate does cut down on eyestrain throughout your day.

The next thing is an adjustable stand.

You want to position your monitor so the top of the screen is at eye level.

Trying to make a monitor taller by stacking it on top of something else is an accident waiting to happen, so spend the money and get that adjustable stand. If you’re wanting a monitor for gaming, you’ll also definitely want one that tilts and can be positioned vertically.

Or, if you frequently read a lot of text, a monitor that goes vertical will help you easily read long passages.

Third, an HDMI input is a must. It ensures you’re getting quality images and video.

And, depending on your laptop, keep in mind that you may need to buy an adaptor.

Surface Pro and MacBook, for example, need adapters to hook your laptop up to the second monitor.

Since we were using a MacBook, we bought a Thunderbolt Adapter for $40.

Other laptops might require a DVI cable or some other sort.

Depending on what you’re streaming, you may have other wants but these are the basic musts for most streaming operations.

The AOS Monitor vs. the ASUS Monitor

Due to a misinformed salesperson, we purchased a 27 inch AOS monitor for just over $200.

But, it wasn’t fully adjustable as promised.

The AOS monitor only tilted and couldn’t be moved up and down at all.

The base of the monitor was a fixed height.

This would not be a problem now as we use monitor mounts and can fully move them to almost any height, but at the time of the purchases, none of us were using these types of monitor mounts.

So, we returned it and got an ASUS VG278 Monitor which had everything we were looking for.

The ASUS was about $100 more than the AOS but it’s a superior monitor in every way.

The setup for the ASUS monitor was simple and straightforward.

The stand quickly screwed into the base.

Then, we just plugged it in using our Thunderbolt, and then the MacBook took over.

All we had to do was go into system preferences and set up the order of the monitor.

You will only have to do this if running multiple screens, thus increasing desktop space.

For Macbook, you can just click and drag the screens to put them into whatever arrangement works for your desktop, so it’s fairly intuitive.

The Bottom Line

The adjustability and versatility of the ASUS monitor make it great for live streaming or video editing.

With a 144Hz refresh rate, it’s easy on your eyes, too.

Unfortunately, the AOS U2790VQ 27″ while it does have the option for 4k the refresh rate is at 60Hz.

Searching out a monitor with a higher refresh rate was a must as we spend long hours using these monitors.

By choosing a monitor with a higher refresh rate we reduce how soon eyestrain kicks in during our workday.

The ASUS monitor could not go up to 4k resolution but with the 144Hz refresh rate, it was worth passing up the 4k option for the time being.

The ASUS VG278QR 27″ monitor adjusts three ways so you can position it however you need and of course, has HDMI for optimal viewing.

So no doubt, hands down, the ASUS monitor is better than the AOS.

When it comes down to purchasing a monitor it truly comes down to what you are looking for and your budget.

Not everyone can afford a 4k monitor with a high refresh rate.

When it comes to our experience it is better to spend the money on a higher refresh rate over a higher resolution.

Our purchase was more about the flexibility of adjusting the monitor’s position as we could have lived with a lower refresh rate at the time of this purchase.

It just worked out that we were able to find a monitor with a higher refresh rate and were pleasantly pleased and our eyes now thank us.

If you don’t spend your day sitting in front of your monitor you may choose resolution over refresh rate and this is a viable option.

In the end, it comes down to your needs and the money you have to spend.

How to Set up Restream.io

The first thing you need to set up and take full advantage of Reastream.io is to have premium access.

Did you get your Restream.io premium access? Great! Follow along these steps to set up Restream.io and start streaming to multiple Facebook pages.

Step 1: Add a New Channel

Find the “Destinations” button on the left-side menu. You should immediately see a bright orange button to add a new channel.

Step 2: Select a Service

You will now be asked to choose a service to stream to.

In order to set up Restream.io to stream to multiple Facebook pages, scroll to the bottom and choose “Groups and Public Pages”

Once you do that, you will be asked to connect your Facebook account and give the appropriate permissions.

Step 3: Connect to Facebook and Set up Permissions

Here you can add and connect all the Facebook pages and groups you want to multistream to.

Take note that you will need to add the Restream app to each Facebook Group or page.

This prompt above should appear every time you add a group or page to stream to. Click “Add Restream app to Facebook group”

You will be taken to the Group’s Advanced Settings page on Facebook, scroll below, and edit App permissions.

Check if you already have Restrearm.io added to the Group’s apps. If not, click on add apps and search for Restream.io to give it permission.

Repeat these steps for every Facebook Business Page or Facebook Group you want to livestream on.

Be sure to add the Restream App and set up the proper permissions as well to avoid any problems later on.

Step 4: Update Titles

Now that you have added your Facebook groups and Business Pages to Restream.io, you need to update your titles.

You can do so by navigating back to the Destinations tab, and click “Update titles”.

Take note that you can perform a bulk update by hitting “update all.” However, this will update any existing streams you already have.

If you do not want to overwrite your other streams, you can edit your titles individually instead.

Step 5: Set up Social Alerts

Now that you’ve updated your stream’s titles for each platform, you should proceed with setting up social alerts. Scroll back up to the very top of the page and click “Social Alerts” right beside the “Titles” tab.

This tab allows you to set up integrations between your stream and your Facebook page, Discord server, and Twitter account.

Once correctly set up, Restream will send the message text to your followers whenever you start streaming.

How To Livestream to Multiple Facebook Pages on Restream.io

Now that you’re all set up, you are ready to start streaming! Click on “Live Studio” to get started.

Your camera should come up! If by chance Restream Live Studio Pro is unable to access your camera, click on the cog icon on the bottom right of the window and check your settings.

Here you can also choose which video camera, audio input, and audio output device to use.

At this point, you can hit “Go Live” and start streaming.

How To Livestream to Multiple Facebook Pages on OBS

If you prefer to go on air using OBS, you can do that by first heading back to your Restream.io Dashboard and finding “Destinations.”

Choose the Channel you want to stream to and find “streaming Settings” at the bottom right of the page.

Here, you should find your Stream Key.

Copy the Restream.io Stream Key and head on over to OBS.

On your OBS Dashboard, you should find the “Settings” tab on the bottom left of the screen. Hit that and choose “stream” on the pop-up window.

Choose the right service from the drop-down menu. In this case, make sure to select Restream.io

You can choose to click “Connect Account” which will ask you to log in on Restream.io to connect the accounts. Another option is to use the Restream.io Stream Key we got earlier and paste it on here.

Click apply and you should be ready to start streaming to multiple Facebook pages using OBS!

How To Livestream to Multiple Facebook Pages on Streamlabs OBS

Streaming to multiple Facebook pages is just as easy to set up on Streamlabs OBS as it was on Reastream.io.

The first thing to do is bring up your Streamlabs OBS dashboard and find the “Settings” icon on the bottom left corner of the screen.

This should bring up the settings window. Click on “Stream” and choose “Streaming Services” as the stream type.

Choose “Restream.io RTMP” as your service and set the server settings to Autodetect.

Finally, paste your Restream.io Stream Key and hit “Done”.

From here on out, you should be able to stream to multiple Facebook Pages using Restream.io, OBS, and Streamlabs OBS with ease.

Once you’ve assembled the arms, proceed to go either under or behind your desk to fit the mount snuggly in your desk’s grommet. Make sure to secure the clamp and check for any unwanted wobbliness.

Here’s a tip: Now that your Loctek Fleximounts Dual Arm Monitor Mount is almost completely installed, do not attempt to attach the cable casings right away. Save this for when you’ve attached your monitors. Securely screw your monitors into place and take your time routing the cables within the arm’s housing. Make sure to leave allowances for when you move the arms around. It is important that the cables within the arms are not pulled during motion.

Now that we’ve dug into the Kappamon basics on Live Streaming Tech, you hopefully have a great framework for setting up your Kappamon chat bot virtual pet and working with the commands. Today, we’re going to take a closer look at Kappamon commands, including trouble-shooting if you run across any commands that aren’t working for you. Let’s look at how the different types of Kappamon commands, how to set up your commands, and a solution to the most common problems with Kappamon commands.

What Is A Kappamon?

A Kappamon is a virtual chat pet that you can add to your Twitch stream. Your Kappamon is a fun addition to your platform. Use a Kappamon and other bots to build audience engagement, reinforce viewer activity, share information about your other platforms, and more. Common Commands And What They Do

Before we get into details on using commands, let’s take a baseline look at what commands are and what they do. Kappamon commands set up all of your bot’s automated behavior on Twitch. You can create as many commands as you’d like, giving your pet a full range of actions, reactions, announcements, and more. Your Kappamon can display images and gifs, perform animated moves, and give links to your webpage or other social platforms. Explore these commands to start getting ideas.

Trigger Command

When you make a trigger command, it starts with the exclamation point (!). This is similar to other chat bots in Twitch, so you might already be familiar with this function. Whenever someone types your !trigger into chat, your Kappamon will take the commanded action.

Keyword Commands

With a keyword command, your Kappamon bot is monitoring the chat conversation for specific keywords. For example, if you set up a keyword for “banana,” your Kappamon will keep an eye out for anyone saying “banana” in chat. This can be the word by itself or used in a sentence. Whenever the keyword shows up, the Kappamon will be triggered to do its command.

Scheduled Commands

Again, this command is very similar to other chat bots you might have tried. You can schedule your Kappamon to make an action at a timed interval, such as sending out the link to your YouTube channel every thirty minutes. Kappamon recommends setting your scheduled commands to run on twenty-minute intervals, if not longer.

The time intervals are set in seconds not minutes. Keep this in mind.

Auto Command

These commands are embedded into Kappamon. For example, these commands include your Kappamon making an automatic response whenever someone subs to your channel. You can’t add these commands but you can turn them off.

How To Set Up Commands

We’ve seen a lot of users having issues with setting up commands. Commands are a versatile tool for your channel, so it’s definitely worth spending some time to get your Kappamon set up the way you’d like it.

When you’re setting up your commands, you have many options to customize what your Kappamon does during your stream. Start with setting the type of command. Remember that trigger commands will start with the exclamation point, so if you’re setting a trigger command for “win,” you’ll type !win into the command field.

Once you set up the command type, you can include your message options, animation style, duration, cool-down period, and more. You can also set specific user groups that can trigger the command, including mods, yourself, and viewers. Make the most of your command options to create a completely unique reaction!

How To Solve Most Kappamon Command Problems

We know that many users have trouble with updating their commands, but there’s a simple solution to most problems. Most command issues are caused by your Kappamon cache being out of date. You can solve this problem by refreshing your cache. Once you’ve set up your commands the way you want them, save your settings and then check the properties to update your Kappamon cache.

To check the properties, right-click on the Sources under your Kappamon. Select Properties and refresh the cache of your current page. This updates your changes with the Kappamon webpage.

Most command problems are caused when your cache doesn’t match the main Kappamon site. If you’re trying to make changes to your Kappamon but aren’t seeing anything take place, refreshing your cache will often solve your problem.

After refreshing your cache, open up your chat to test your Kappamon. You don’t need to be live to test your bot. Simply make sure you’re logged in through a browser, mobile device, or your preferred method. Type the trigger you set and watch your Kappamon for the response. If you’ve refreshed your cache, your Kappamon should take action!

We suggest running through all of your commands to see how they perform. You can test scheduled commands by waiting for their set interval to trigger, or temporarily change the times for testing purposes. Remember to change the time back to twenty minutes or longer when you’re done with your tests.

Buffering Problems

We have seen a few posts on our Live Streaming Tech YouTube channel with an issue of not seeing the Kappamon Pet and only seeing it buffer.

Double-check that the link is correct.

To do this go to the Kappamon Profile page and to the left-hand side you will see “Stream URL (Dimension 650 x 400)”

You will want to click the show button and copy the link into your browser source in OBS Studio or Streamlabs OBS.

Do not share this URL with anyone though. This is for your eyes only.

What is a Kappamon pet?

In this basic/beginner Kapamon tutorial we will help you understand Kappamon pets and how to use them in your live streams.

Kappamon pets are digital pets that run as a browser source in either OBS Studio, Streamlabs OBS, or other live streaming software.

These digital pets act as an auto-greeter for your viewers.

Not only do they auto-greet but they will also interact with your viewers in many other ways via chat, follows, subs, donations, and more within your channel.

Kappamon allows you to make your own pet, be it a virtual one.  This makes it easy to share your pet (or the one you wish you had) by making an animated bot of them with Kappamon for your live streams.

It’s a pretty easy process.  Let’s get started.  Don’t worry, we will walk you through step by step!

Let’s start by clearing this up, there are other extension pets you can use for your Twitch channel.

But you are dealing with monetizing issues for simply using their extension.

These extensions encourage viewers to donate to help your pet out but viewers will have to scroll down to get to the pet using the extension.

This draws the viewer’s attention away from the screen, therefore drawing the attention away from you the streamer.

With Kappamon this is no longer an issue.

Your Kappamon pet is an actual “overlay” that allows you to place it anywhere on the screen and move them around and adjust its size as you wish.

Now the eyes are no longer taken off the screen but draw even more attention to it.

Step One – Log In, Check Out Your Profile and Look Around

First, you will head over to Kappamon.com.

Simply log in using your Twitch account or Trovo account.

You will be taken directly to your profile.

On your profile, there will be options, including the Marketplace.

The Kappamon marketplace is where you will find a collection of pets.

Here you can choose any of the free Kappamon animated pet bots or choose a paid bot. Pricing for these starts at around $5 per bot.

There are six pages (most likely more after the posting of this article) to scroll through, so there are plenty of amazing pets to choose from.

Some pets are available with several themes or alterations known as mutations.

Watch for special edition Kappamon pets as they become available.

These special editions of Kappamon pets can spice up your live streams during the holidays.

Click on the Kappamon bot’s image and use the pull-down tab to the left to see your bot at the resting stage, dancing, and several other animations.

Certain Kappamon will have their very own animations while others may have just the basics.

Under the options panel, you can set up the appearance of your Kappamon by changing the direction they face, reveal the commands, and connect it to your Spotify account.

Step Two – Choose Your Kappamon

While in the Marketplace you will see an option to purchase Kappa Coins.

Press this and you will see the packs available.

Just press choose under the bot you wish to use and it’s yours forever.

Let’s face it sometimes our pets get old and need to be “retired”.

You can always purchase new pets and swap them out anytime you wish at no extra charge.

On holidays you will find yourself grabbing themed pets.

Once the holiday is finished you can then go back to your tried and true Kappamon pet or purchase a new one.

Step Three – Get your Kappamon active and customize their actions.

Kappamon bots can communicate through the chatbox with commands.

Once you choose your Kappamon you can set up your commands.

Simply enter the commands area and will see the built-in auto commands.

There is also the capability to set your commands for text your Kappamon will say, and you can schedule your greetings or announcements that the pet will make.

You can use this to promote whatever you would like, for example, “Check out my YouTube Page!” and this will be said along with a pop-up link. Or use it to welcome your VIPs, anything you choose. Selected keywords can also prompt the Kappamon bot to speak up.

To set them up you simply press edit and you are on the Edit Command screen.

You will enter the command, message that will be associated with that command, animations, and the duration.

It is a great way to get people talking and engaging with you and other users.  Once one user sees the Kappamon and how it responds, it encourages others to give it a try.

Kappamon bots are especially perfect for those who don’t use cameras during their live streams.

Step Three – Getting familiar and joining the Kappa World community.

On the app, you will see Kappa World on the bottom of the control panel.

This is where you will find updates and access to the community.

You can also find great valuable information on the Kappamon Discord server.

Let’s face it after using your Raycon E55 earbuds over time the sound quality and volume diminish.

How do you get your Raycons to sound like they did when they arrived on your doorstep?

Well, we have figured out a way to clean them to return them to or close to that new sound when you first got your Raycon E55s.

The following is a step-by-step guide on how to clean Raycon E55 earbuds.

Step 1

Reverse the Raycon silicon ear tips.

You can do this by pulling the edges of the ear tip until it is inside out.

This shouldn’t take great force.

Step 2

Gently pull off the Raycon silicon ear tips.

This will expose the screen.

Step 3

Dip a Q-tip into rubbing alcohol.

Hold exposed screen/opening where the silicon tip once was upward.

Step 4

Gently rub Q-tip in a circular motion on the screen, also known as wax filters, to loosen it.

Take care that you do not press too hard or over-saturate the screen with alcohol.

Step 5

The wet Q-tip should allow you to now remove the screen.

Take care that nothing drops into the newly exposed opening on the Raycon E55.

Now that the screen is off the Raycon we now can clean it even further.

Step 6

Clean both sides of the Raycon E55’s screen and keep it out till you have finished step 7.

Make sure you secure the screen in a safe clean location.

The screens are small and can be easily dropped or lost.

Step 7

Clean the speaker opening on the Raycon E55.

Make sure not to push too hard or oversaturate the opening with alcohol as we don’t want it rolling down towards the speaker.

This step is just to make sure we have removed any dust, dirt, and or ear wax build-up.

Step 8

Carefully place the screen back over the speaker opening.

Do not force into place.

Step 9

Using the dry end of the Q-tip press the screen gently into place.

This should not take much force.

Step 10

Now that the screen is back in place take the Raycon silicon tip and push it back on the opening over the screen.

Follow these steps for each Raycon E55 earbud.

Once you are done go ahead and fire them up to see if you notice a big difference.

Use this process anytime you hear a degrade in sound quality or volume.

Don’t throw out perfectly good gear. Just give it a little TLC every now and then.

So you check all the boxes when it comes to earning the right to becoming a Twitch affiliate:

• At least 500 total minutes broadcast in the last 30 days.
• At least 7 unique broadcast days in the last 30 days.
• An average of 3 concurrent viewers or more over the last 30 days.

• At least 50 Followers.

Hurray! Now you are knee-deep into filling out the forms but for some reason, the address keeps coming back as incorrect.

The culprit is address 2.

Screw you Address 2!

If address 2 is causing so many problems why doesn’t Twitch fix it or take it out?

We could not say.

However, we do have a solution.

LEAVE ADDRESS 2 BLANK!

Yes, that is right leave it alone. Put nothing in it.

If you happen to live in an apartment or suite then put it in address 2 otherwise leave it alone.

But You’re Still Having Problems?

I’m still getting errors, you say.

Anytime you fill out your address after putting it in the first time it must match.

This means keystroke for keystroke.

Do not get lazy and use autofill.

Autofill is your enemy for filling out the Twitch affiliate tax form.

I repeat, NO AUTOFILL!

Here at Live Streaming Tech, we have shown you how to make your very own Twitch emotes. But let’s face, it not all of us have the time or artistic flair.

We went back to Fiverr in search of those with a bit more artistic ability than ourselves.

How to get emotes for Twitch hiring someone on Fiverr isn’t as hard as it sounds. Once you understand the search function on Fiverr, you’ll be well on your way to finding that perfect freelancer on Fiverr.

Fiverr Search

Unless you want to spend hours on Fiverr looking at every seller that offers Twitch emotes, we are going to help you speed up this process.

Remember, depending on your needs and when you do the search, your results will vary but the method is solid.

We first need to type in search “Twitch Emotes.”

Next, we will focus on the tabs down under search so we can narrow our search a bit more as we don’t have the time nor want to go through every single seller.

The first tab we will explore is the category tab.

For this walkthrough, let’s select “Graphics for Streamer.” This will remove 210 sellers from our search.

Now, don’t freak out, we won’t have to go through 1,650 sellers.

We will keep narrowing our search down more as we go.

Service Options will be the next tab we explore.

Let’s select “Emotes & Badges” and “Twitch.”

Make sure you click that “Apply” button below.

Now we have narrowed the search down to around 900.

We are going to keep chopping this list down as we go. You can do more on your searches in the future.

The next tab will be “Seller Details.”

We are going to select the “Seller Level” click on “Top Rated Seller” these sellers have been tried, tested, and have a good rating due to reviews left by buyers.

This isn’t to say that Level One’s, Two’s, and New Sellers won’t work for you. But for this instance, we are going to skip those for brevity.

You will also want to choose an appropriate language since communication is key when working with Fiverr sellers.

We selected English.

Once again make sure you hit that apply button.

The “Budget” is the next search tab.

For this instance, we will leave it blank but if you have a set amount you’re willing to spend this is where you would put it in.

Just for kicks, I would recommend leaving the budget blank as you might find a seller worth saving up for.

Say your budget is $50 max and there might be a phenomenal seller at $60 for a gig you would totally miss out.

If we leave this open or go slightly above our budget, we may find some stellar gigs.

The final tab will be “Delivery Time.”

Once again, this selection will be your choice.

We went with “Anytime” as we were in no hurry.

We have now narrowed our search down to 19 sellers.

You can play around with your selections to remove more or add more to the final search.

We would also like to draw attention to what is called Fiverr’s Choice.

This is Fiverr’s way of saying this Fiverr seller is cream of the crop.

We get all excited when we see Fiverr’s Choice in our searches.

Fiverr Gigs

We now will look at gigs and what we will get for it. Fiverr gigs are the work the seller will do for you, the buyer.

Now, remember each gig will differ and may change in the future. So beware! If you look today and come back next week, the gig price or contents may change.

You will also find some Fiverr sellers will be seasonal or take breaks at a time. This means if you have a favorite, don’t freak out if you can’t find them when you come back. They might have just taken a break or are on vacation.

Let’s get on with the good stuff.

Gigs are separated into three categories and that is Basic, Standard, and Premium.

The price points will, of course, increase as you move up through the gigs. But then, so will the number of products or quality.

Above is the basic and as you see for 10$ we will get 1 Emote or 1 Sub Badge.

We have now moved up into the Standard gig.

For $40 we will get 3 Emotes plus 1 sub badge.

Take note of how the delivery time has changed from 3 days to 5 days. This is something to keep in mind when looking at different gigs.

We are still at unlimited revisions and this is a good thing as we will have wiggle room when it comes to tweaking the emotes or need to have the seller make any changes.

Now for the Premium gig.

Now for $20 more, we will get 2 more sub badges but the delivery time increased by 2 days.

Communication with Fiverr Seller

You have heard the saying that communication is key. And when it comes to working with sellers on Fiverr, this is true.

Don’t do like we did and NOT read through all the seller’s details. Some sellers want you to contact them first.

Since we skipped over a bit of the reading when purchasing multiple gigs on Fiverr, we hit one or two bumps in the road.

You can find this in the two previous articles.

This allows them to ensure you are aware of what they are providing and what you want they can deliver.

Proper and clear communication makes it fair, not only for the seller, but you will most likely get out of the gig what you’re looking for.
